During long outages data centers stop not because of generators but because of diesel. McLaut runs three petrol stations in Cherkasy and 14 fuel tankers, so the site generator is refuelled from our own reserve within minutes.
This is not a supplier agreement. It is part of the McLaut group of companies. Energy consumed while on generator is billed at its actual cost, with no markup.

Questions people ask before moving
What equipment can be placed?
Servers in 19-inch rack-mount chassis, 1U, 2U or up to 4U high, with rails or brackets. Desktop cases and consumer PCs are not accepted.
Can I visit my server myself?
No, customers do not enter the server room. All connections, replacements and reboots are done by McLaut staff. If the server itself needs work, we remove it from the rack and you work on it at the McLaut service station, after which we put it back.
Who installs the server and what does it cost?
Our engineers mount and connect it. With an annual contract installation is free; for shorter terms it is 760 UAH for 1U and 1,190 UAH for 2U. Delivery to the site is arranged by the client.
How is electricity billed?
A meter records the energy your equipment consumes. The monthly amount equals kWh × 1.80 × the actual electricity price. The 1.80 factor covers heating, cooling and losses in the backup power installation.
What happens during a power outage?
Equipment switches to UPS, then the diesel generator starts, fuelled from the McLaut Region reserve. Energy consumed while on generator is billed at the actual generator electricity cost with the same 1.80 factor.
Can I get more IP addresses or use my own ASN?
Yes. An additional IPv4 address is 69 UAH a month. Announcing your own address block over BGP is agreed individually.
Is there space available?
The number of units is limited. McLaut network customers get priority; other requests are handled in the order received.
Which documents do we sign?
A colocation agreement, a service order, an SLA with a maintenance schedule, an access policy and an acceptable use policy. We send them on request before signing.
