Site infrastructure
A micro data center on McLaut premises in Cherkasy: a few racks, our own backbone, backup power and a fuel reserve within one group of companies. Space is limited.
Power
Equipment runs through UPS units that carry the load until the diesel generator starts. Electricity is metered and billed at its actual cost with a 1.80 factor; while on generator, at the actual generator electricity cost.
The 1.80 factor covers heating, cooling and losses in the backup power installation: for every kilowatt your equipment draws, the infrastructure adds 0.80 kW.

Diesel from our own petrol stations
McLaut runs three petrol stations in Cherkasy and since 2022 has delivered fuel to retail and wholesale customers with its own fleet of 14 tankers. For the data center this means a guaranteed diesel reserve independent of the market on the day of an outage.
The on-site stock is replenished from the group’s own logistics, not under a contract with an outside supplier.

Network
The site is connected directly to the backbone of the McLaut ISP, which has operated since 2001 and now serves 147 towns and villages in Cherkasy region and beyond. McLaut subscribers reach your services without leaving the network, which is why McLaut network customers get priority for placement.
The standard port is 100 Mbps, with 1 or 10 Gbps available. Additional IPv4 addresses and BGP announcement of your own blocks are agreed individually.
McLaut has run its own autonomous system, AS25133, since 2002. The network connects to the UA-IX, DTEL-IX, Giganet, 1-IX, DE-CIX Frankfurt, AMS-IX Amsterdam and Equinix Warsaw exchanges with ports of up to 40 Gbps, has two transit carriers (RETN, Hurricane Electric) and its own points of presence in Kyiv, Frankfurt and Warsaw. All address blocks are RPKI-signed.

Security and maintenance
Closed McLaut group premises, video surveillance and access control. Customers do not enter the server room: connections, replacements and reboots are done by McLaut staff. Work on the server itself is done on the removed server at the McLaut service station, after which we return it to the rack.

Documents
Colocation agreement, SLA with maintenance schedule, access policy, acceptable use policy, equipment intake and release forms. We send the package on request.
